Nalta Hospital & Community Health Foundation

Nalta Hospital, a non-government organization established in 1999 as a project of Nalta Hospital and Community Health Foundation to address the basic health care needs of the rural people of Nalta & its periphery and gradually the districts of Satkhira, Jessore & Khulna of the south-west part of Bangladesh. More than 357130 rural people in 365 villages of Kaliganj & Debhata thana in Satkhira district are getting direct healthcare facilities. During the last 12 years Nalta Hospital has developed a village health care model in Bangladesh. Apart from regular hospital activities Nalta Hospital always tries to involve in many other socio economic development issues of the community

To provide best healthcare facility to the underprivileged community

Nalta Hospital is working for the promotion and improvement of village healthcare programs especially for the disadvantaged section of the society, with an approach to provide cost effective service delivery, strengthen community capacity and establish linkage with similar programs both nationally & internationally. As Nalta’s only full service hospital, Nalta Hospital offers complete care including 24/7 emergency services, maternity services, orthopedic service, dental service critical and intensive care, surgery and pediatric care – all provided by skilled doctors and highly trained health professionals.

Nalta Hospital is not only a general hospital that provide treatment facilities for patient but its is the center of many rural development projects run by Nalta Hospital & Community Health Foundation and many of other social organization. We go extra miles for the holistic development of the rural community of our country. Nalta Hospital is presently running many projects such as Community Radio, Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, Youth Friendly Healthcare Support, Awareness build up projects on HIV/AIDS, Anti Tobacco Campaign, Water & Sanitation. The holy land of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, MA, I.E.S

Nalta is a versatile village under Nalta Union Parishad located in the South West part of Bangladesh. It is about 30 km from the Satkhira District town. Total population of Nalta Union is around 50,000. Nalta village is famous place for its education standard, healthcare and its rich in heritage. Pak Rawza Sharif is a Holly shrine of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, MA, I.E.S. in Nalta. He was a famous spiritual Islamic Philosopher, renowned educationist (ADPI of undivided Bengal) the then British India, a dedicated philanthropist. The people of Nalta hold him very close to their heart. The Ahsania Mission is His outstanding achievement and its activities run throughout the world even up to the United Nation. He is the author of more than hundred books.
